It isn’t enough to simply say ‘I’m giving up chocolate or meat or fast foods but mindfully as part of a greater desire for change. Lent is a time for intellectual, emotional, and spiritual spring cleaning. A time to look within to address issues that are hindering personal growth. Getting rid of excess baggage or emotional attachments that slow us down but in doing this you can then reveal your true potential
